Seemed to be telling both sides but really lacks a feel for long history of humanity and direction of the noösphere. Keep working on this, seeking truth, it will come, I expect. The altruism of George Washington was mentioned however briefly so the germ of optimism is there along with the craftsmanship of words. I'll be on the lookout for some essays from Kaczmarowski. (Many thanks for not including impotent and salacious scenes involving sex.). The importance of words in our culture cannot be overrated so keep on writing by all means especially getting into those Federalist Papers and how a republic must work at whatever level of technology. He3 was a commendable choice of topic and raised questioned re development of a global community of sovereign nation states however the historically significant Treaty of Westphalia went missing while resolution based on a "peaceful" power struggle somehow didn't ring any truer than that in Atlas Shrugged. Hopefully the author will not reveal a dark underpinning of selfishness as the short book "the Virtue of Selfishness" did as the basis for his fiction.Product details

I really enjoyed reading Moon Rising. It had great characters, a fresh and engaging storyline, and a non-stop pace. It was refreshing to see a hero that isn't just your typical fist fighting action hero, but actually has some depth and intelligence. I hope we can see more of Frank Sawyer in future books.
I definitely recommend this book for any fan of the fiction action genre.

As one who knows space elevators (www.isec.org) I recognized a soulmate. He understands the technology and presents it well. But importantly he understands the phenomenal benefits to humanity upon completion. He truly sees the great potential of successful space elevator infrastructures. Well done!

I read the second book by Jerry Kaczmarowski and decided to try this one as well.
This book is great. It was gripping. Full of suspense. And total fun.
A power play of an American patriot against the Chinese, and in a way his own government. Couldn't have asked for a better book.
Between working, raising kids, being a spouse, and a good friend, I don't have much time to curl up with a book and read. So when I do find one that is worthy of my time, it's worth saying something. First of all, I *love* sci fi movies, but not so much sci fi books. Books are hit and miss - mostly I skip this genre of books. This book caught my eye and I thought I'd give it a shot. I'm really glad I did.
The characters are believable and enjoyable (4 stars because this could've been better), but what I loved most was the weaving of believable science and geo-politics with likeable real characters. The author clearly did his research and painted a story of the not-too-distant future, brought to life ideas that are super nerdy, and put it all in a story that made me wonder where it would go next.
Good read. Good fun.

Moon Rising tackles this question, and paints a vivid and thrilling ride that is as gripping as taking the Jurassic Park River Ride on Isla Nublar. Through the eyes of Frank Sawyer, we get to witness what it takes to compete at the highest level for energy dominance for the next millennium. This is truly no holds barred.
The premise of the story is powerful and intriguing, and the execution backs it up brilliantly. The story is told from multiple viewpoints with clashing ideologies, so even if you are unsympathetic to the protagonist's ideals, you might just find someone else to root for. The politics are believable and strategies utilized are well-maneuvered, there are quite a few gems that can be utilized in everyday settings. And finally the plot is fast-paced non-stop action, but tightly woven to bring multiple view angles together - we are never too far from any particular character at any given time - into a joyride that's sure to keep you on the edge of your seat.
My only nitpick is that I would love it even more if the story is longer - more details about the technologies, more insights into the characters, etc. As it stands it's a perfectly fun read to let our imagination run wild with the last frontier as we enter into another space exploration age.
